The House of Chin Fe is one of Guam's oldest continually operating and locally owned restaurants, started by the Wong family in 1962. In November 2021 the Wong's sold the restaurant to TS Investments, a local partnership with community roots dating back more than 100 years.
Between Thanksgiving 2021 and mid-January 2022 the restaurant underwent extensive renovations. The kitchen was reconfigured and outfitted with modern cooking, grilling, and smoking equipment, and the dry and cold storage spaces expanded. The dining room was remodeled and the building facade and grounds received new lighting and landscaping.
With a loyal following for 60 years, 3 generations of local Guamanians have grown up on the unique Chinese-Chamorro cuisine that can only be found at House of Chin Fe. Sweet and Sour dishes, beef, chicken, pork, and seafood dishes, homemade noodles, soups, Kadon Pika, and so much more including our famous House of Chin Fe Fried Rice.
Since long before "fusion" became trendy on the restaurant scene, House of Chin Fe was known for Chinese favorites served up with a Chamorro twist.
Now, together with you, our loyal customers and new friends we are meeting along the way, the next chapter in this great Guamanian restaurant story is being written. Daily local specials such as Chamorro Tinaktak, Spare Ribs Estufao, Chamorro style Oxtail Soup, and more have been added to our robust menu.
And soon you will see even more favorites available for even more hours throughout the day.
